The redish brown color your refering to is the factory primer. If you want to make top dollar and want it restore to 100% correct, it needs to go back the same color. Otherwise its not restaored and will just make an expensive driver.
Reply:I really don't care about underneath the car. As long as it's clean.
Reply:If the numbers match and the parts are original it will be worth a lot more with the original color. If the engine numbers don't match then it's just a driver anyway so go with whatever you like best.
Reply:Original color.
Reply:I`d go for the original color.
Reply:Aight you're talkin bout the underside of the car right? I would powder coat the frame....if not powder coat it then paint to match the body...sounds like a show car in progress.
Reply:Original redish brown color if you want to keep it looking like an original.
Reply:people are drawn to shiny things hence bling I say make it shine like new and you can't go wrong plus it would be cool at car show to tilt a mirror underneath and show you have every detail of your car shined like new.
Reply:Screw the ugly color .
