These are some of the biggest and longest running scams around. Don't be duped into it.
Reply:On line surveys are BOGUS !!!!!!! I have joined a few and they keep sending me mail to do surveys and say keep doing them to earn .. Earn what though %26gt;.. Points or entrys into games .... forget it ..
Reply:Yes, actually some are legit, just make sure that u know what u are getting into before u start, lots of these programs want u to pay for lists of surveys to do. I was doing surveys for a company called "Pinecone Research" was getting $5 per survey, so I wasnt making a living off it, but it was cool, sometimes they would send out sample products to try out...but still be careful some of these companies also will infest ur computer with spyware or adware, which is a pain in the **** to get rid of. Good luck to u on this.
Reply:I have been thinking about the exact same thing. i am a student who has been real busy with my studies but am interested in earning a bit of extra cash when i have a free half hour or whatever.

i typed into google make money this evening to find a big selection of rubbish come up but one stood out. it was a link to Barclays Bank. i don't know if you are in the U.K but it is one of the main banks here. i followed the link and it had 10 suggestions of how to make money, just to supplement your income. it had things such as police i.d parades, television extras, mystery shoppers etc. it also had the infamous online survey. in it's description it did explain that their are a lot of scams out there so to be careful. but it linked to one site:

http://www.ukpaidsurveys.co.uk/

now, coming from a trusted bank i'd like to think its gonna be a good link. they recommended this site because it searches through loads of different online survey sites and picks out the best ones. after giving them a rating and telling you the positives/negatives about them. so after looking through this site it claimed that this site: http://www.surveyhawk.com/index1.htm

is number one. it is £18 to join (£16 if you pay through paypal) and to me looks very genuine and to be linked ultimately from a bank it cant be that bad, can it?

id love to trust it and to just do it but i am still sceptical. id like to know of someone who has gone through this particular site and to let me know what its like.

i hope this information helps and please, if you do join and it is good, let me know as i would love to earn a little bit of extra cash.
Reply:My advice is not to do it.

It is never as good as it sounds....

I tried it several years ago and thankfully did not invest alot of money, but did not make a penny.
Reply:you get payed less than 20 cents per survey, if you do enough during a week you can go out and buy a whole entire bottle of milk.

i highly recommend participating, i'll be a millionaire if i just stopped buying milk and live to the age of 10,000
Reply:Hey boet

I think you will be the first one to get paid.so ratter not try it
Reply:It's a scam. There are machines that can do it for practically nothing.
Reply:You are much better off borrowing the money you need from Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny than wasting your time and energy with those kinds of scams. The only people making money are those who refer others. It's yet another MLM / Pyramid that have people at the top making the money put in by the people at the bottom.
