Would appreciate an opinion on something I wrote and whether or not its ne good?

I know Im going to get some stupid answers but I wanted a non-biased opinion of something I wrote for a person who is very special in my life...thx...bc im nervous about giving it to him...is it any good and does the last verse end it well?





The walls that I have built


are slowly crumbling


Leaving me exposed


For you to conquer and defeat





Ive been a stranger to kindness and


This is all so new


The strength youve provided me is the love that I want to give back to you





Its so hard always having to let you go


But if thats the price I must pay to hold on


Then Ill be content with the fact that I know





In you, I see me and so much more


You are the epitomy of I everything I've ever wanted


You are the one that I've been searching for





So hold me close and promise to never give up the fight


I'll gladly lose the battle


For the love of my life...

My god that was beautiful. I think that if the recipient of this poem is not pleased, grateful, and honored he's a asshole.

Reply:That is very beautiful, it is a very heartfelt poem, which seems to be about someone fighting for there loved one, and even if it means letting them go and be happy without them. I believe it has a perfect ending.
