i don't think that a guy like webber shouldn't be insulted. the guy was an all-star player, and even though he had those injuries, still he played at an all-star level. he was a smart guy and a very effective leader. yes, he wasn't able to win a championship crown for his team, but the guy certainly gave all his efforts in order to achieve such. even after he was traded in philly, the guy still was able to produce respectable numbers and still was a factor for that team. this was of course, despite of him not being able to dominate the game the way he used to. the guy was really a good role player. when he came to detroit, he blended easily to the system.

i think that the kings losing to L.A. every time they meet in the playoffs is not his fault and burden to carry alone. it's not like he played carelessly during those years. webber deserves all the respect he should get!
Reply:It was a shot below the belt. Plenty of great players have failed to win a championship in many other sports besides basketball. It'd be like if one of us devoted our lives to a company for 50 years and getting chastized when we retired for not ending up as the CEO by the end of our career. We all fail at some point in our lives, it's just a shame that some people decide to remember us by those failures.
Reply:I didn't read that article cuz I tried reading at first and I didn't understand it. All I understood was the title which was he'll be remembered for something he didn't do or something like that.
Reply:It is all business.
