Why do men get paid more than women for the same job?
Traditional stereotypical happenings.
Reply:Women typically don't get paid less for the same job. This is a myth based on the misread statistic that women earn 80 cents for every dollar a man makes.

Women often choose career fields that pay less then men. They take time out from their careers to have children and are much more likely to stay home and not work. This accounts for most of the wage gap.

I read that never married women earn slightly more than never married men.
Reply:WHERE are the statistics showing this???

Like the guy above me said, women often choose less-paying careers.

Also understand that men usually work more hours.

And I hate to sound patronizing, but if it's a dangerous job that requires strength, a man is going to be a bit better (a biological fact); is it fair to pay one worker the same amount of money as the other worker who can do the job less efficiently?
Reply:They may do the job better, which creates more profit.
