What is the best Pre-Paid phone in your opinion and why? What phone company has the best deal?
Best Pre-Paid phone?
Beware of prepaid service that is "only $1.00 per day".....some of those are $1.00 a day if you use the phone or not --which would mean $30.00 per month is the least expensive route you can go. AT%26amp;T offers to choices in pay as you go ...$1.00 per day (ONLY on the days you use the phone), then $.10 per minute and unlimited mobile to moble. The other choice is $.25 flat rate per minute. Popular prepay phone right now is $20.00 after $20.00 mail in rebate. Check COVERAGE. Prepaid coverage is NOT the same as coverage on postpaid plans. For people using prepaid for emergencies only --(and the occassional convience)...you can get service for as little at $25.00 for 3 mos. or $100 a year ($8.33/mo.).
Reply:it all depends on you. if you just want a phone to talk, then virgin mobile has pretty good prepaid plans (yes, prepaid plans, no contract). you can even set yourself up with an unlimited nights %26amp; weekends if you want or keep it simple with the buy minutes. but if you're looking to get ringtones and downloads, that's where it can get very VERY pricey. once again, it's all up to you.
