Anybody Own a 2007 Orbea Orca with an opinion?

Looking for opinions on the Orbea Orca. Buying experience, price paid and most importantly the ride?

Anybody Own a 2007 Orbea Orca with an opinion?
I rode with someone with the new Orca coupled with SRAM Force gruppo/ Mavic Ksyrium wheels. He likes it and it looks pretty sharp. I have ridden my cousin's Orbea Onix (2005 model) and I find that it combines racer stiffness and comfort very well and climbs like a mountain goat. Because of his bike's small size, I find my Litespeed's handling to be quicker but just as stable. I'd say it is as close to the perfect ride as you can get. I imagine the new Orca is even better.

The owner of the Orca said his brother-in-law worked at the bike shop he bought from so he got the "family deal". I thought he said $4500.

BTW, the Onix did not suffer from the wooden feeling that some carbon bikes have. It's fairly lively as carbon goes, more so than the Madone I tried. really nice ride. It is a 16.5 pound bike for $2400 (with Campy Centaur and custom Velocity wheels).
Reply:what a p.o.s. its soft and not worth the 4g's your going to spend... if you like carbon fiber then look at a LOOK, or a specialized gerolsteiner frame....
Reply:I own a 2007 Orbea Orca, but it doesn't have an opinion, I asked it. I got no response.
Reply:what a nice car. it rides great and handles well too. but it can push it to like 100 mph untill it stops. i got it for 25 grand
