What is you opinion on cell phones when driving which is worse?

the text driver who isn't on the phone but is swerving to text

or the one who is paying slight attention to the road on the phone?

What is you opinion on cell phones when driving which is worse?
The text driver. If your eyes aren't on the road, you're not a driver, just a passenger. As a 5000lb hunk of steel doing 60mph with no driver is not exactly safe.
Reply:The text driver - most normal people can drive and talk - but you can't text and drive - that is crazy!
Reply:I try not to do either, but I think it's the texting while driving. For one, it's normally teens doing it, who are less experienced drivers. Two, you have to look at your phone when you text, when you're talking on a phone you're just mildly distracted.
Reply:Texting is way worse than just talking. If using a hands free what's the difference between talking on the phone and talking to someone in the car? At least on the phone you don't turn your head to face who you are talking to.

Reply:I think I would rather share the road with dogs driving. It's ridiculous that these people can't wait till they get stopped. I think the texting is worse though. At least you are paying partial attention to the road when talking.
Reply:I hate them both..but the texting driver is the WORST!!! You always know if someone in front of u is using the phone, cuz they just keep doing the dumbest sh*t or driving really slow..
Reply:the texting driver is more dangerous...but a person talking on the phone is still dangerous also...just leave the phone, even no hands phones will cause some kind of distraction...
Reply:texting is def worse! wtf are these people thinking?
Reply:I've tried both, and its harder to concentrate when texting.
Reply:i hate them all. put the phone down! or plug it in your ear!! it's pathetic.
Reply:texters
Reply:lol

Texting while driving proves much more difficult than Talking while driving.
Reply:stay off phone while driving all together....
Reply:I'd rather have a person on the phone talking than a person texting.
Reply:Texting is way worse, cause you have to look down every 2 seconds to see what letter your typing!!
Reply:text
Reply:Texters are worse but both are bad.
Reply:both are bad, but I think the person texting is worse
Reply:Both are bad, texting is worse. Actually it is prohibited while driving, for a very good reason..
Reply:It's not safe, but how can you really enforce it? If that's the case, then what is your opinion on someone who is eating while driving? Or someone who is singing along their favorite song while driving? Or the man on the way to the office that is looking over a spreadsheet at the stoplight next to you?

There is no way to enforce this law, because if it was made it would need to include all these other distractions that are just as bad, if not worse.
Reply:they are more dangerous than we drunks, really
Reply:I think texting on phone is way more distracting than just talking on the phone. But that's why they have those hands free devices.
Reply:i think texting is worse, only because you have to look at the phone to see what is being sent to you and what you are typing, but in my opinion both are bad.
Reply:text drivers
